Online UPSs protect against all types of power contamination and continuously create 100% new, clean, perfect sine wave power for connected equipment. Brownouts, power spikes and surges, line noise, and frequency variation are isolated from the equipment by double conversion online technology. Online technology delivers perfect sine wave power to the customer’s sensitive electronic equipment. Only perfect 120-volt sine wave power enables the equipment to perform as it should.

Utility AC power is conditioned and converted to DC power – a small portion of which is used to charge the battery. The remaining DC power travels to the inverter. The inverter produces new, perfect 120 volt sine wave AC power. It is this AC power that keeps the sensitive equipment up and running at all times.
