The Cisco SFP-10G-LR module is a single-mode 10G fiber optical transceiver designed to support a link length of up to 10 kilometers on standard single-mode fiber (SMF, G.652). It offers reliable data transmission over long distances. The SFP-10G-LR SFP Plus optical transceiver from Solid-Optics provides similar capabilities with a 10km link length on standard single-mode fiber.
