The Cisco Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP) Gigabit Interface Converter, also known as glc te Cisco servers as the industry-standard connector for linking switches and routers to the network. This hot-swappable input/output device, easily plugs into Gigabit Ethernet ports or slots. It offers versatility, as both optical and copper models are compatible with a wide range of Cisco products. These GLC-TE SFP modules can be intermixed, allowing for various combinations such as 1000BASE-T, 1000BASE-SX, 1000BASE-LX/LH, 1000BASE-EX, 1000BASE-ZX, or 1000BASE-BX10-D/U on a port-by-port basis.
