Online UPS

Online UPSs are the optimal solution for customers’ critical systems. Eaton’s online design provides the highest level of power protection available and is the ideal choice for medical applications, workstations, light industrial applications, telecommunications equipment, and critical computing applications. Equipment that is particularly sensitive to power fluctuations needs the added reliability and protection of online technology.

Online UPSs protect against all types of power contamination and continuously create 100% new, clean, perfect sine wave power for connected equipment. Brownouts, power spikes and surges, line noise, and frequency variation are isolated from the equipment by double conversion online technology. Online technology delivers perfect sine wave power to the customer’s sensitive electronic equipment. Only perfect 120-volt sine wave power enables the equipment to perform as it should.

Utility AC power is conditioned and converted to DC power – a small portion of which is used to charge the battery. The remaining DC power travels to the inverter. The inverter produces new, perfect 120 volt sine wave AC power. It is this AC power that keeps the sensitive equipment up and running at all times.

The Eaton 9130 UPS delivers online backup power and scalable battery runtimes for servers, voice and data networks, storage systems and other IT equipment. With an efficiency rating of >95%, the 9130 UPS cuts energy costs while significantly extending battery service life with ABM technology. The 9130 UPS also has a bright LCD user interface to simplify monitoring.
